Building einvoicing.dev
From 2029 every UK VAT invoice has to be structured data, and most invoicing code I see is nowhere near ready for it. einvoicing.dev is my answer: an API that validates, converts and looks up Peppol e-invoices, so you never have to write the XML yourself. The guide and the waitlist are live, and the API is what I'm building now.

Two of my tools went public recently. mavis runs a freelance business from plain Markdown files, so clients, time, quotes and invoices live in a folder you can read, with an MCP server for agents. legible scores an OpenAPI spec for how well an agent can actually use it, and explains every finding without your spec leaving your machine.
